Tata Motors will finally launch the Altroz Turbo Petrol in India on January 13, 2021. The upcoming Altroz Turbo will be powered by a BS6-compliant 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine. This turbo petrol motor will churn out around 110 PS of maximum power at 5500 RPM and 140 Nm of peak torque between 1500-5500 RPM. The engine will come mated to Tata Motors' TA65 manual gearbox which is a five-speed unit. The company will also introduce a new 7-speed (DCT) dual-clutch transmission with the Altroz Turbo Petrol, but, most likely at a later point of time. The petrol automatic version of the Ford Figo was about to be launched in August last year but the company delayed its launch and it is now expected to be launched by the end of this month. The new Figo Automatic will be powered by a BS6-compliant 1.2-litre petrol engine. This motor churns out 96 PS of power at 6500 RPM and 119 Nm of torque at 4250 RPM. The engine will come mated to a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission. It also gets a five-speed manual gearbox. Force Gurkha BS6

Force Motors showcased the new BS6-compliant Gurkha at the 2020 Auto Expo. Now, the company is planning to soon launch this off-roader in the Indian market. The all-new 2020 Force Gurkha will be powered by a BS6-compliant 2.6-litre common-rail turbocharged diesel engine. This oil-burner will churn out around 90 PS of power and more than 200 Nm of torque. It will come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and the SUV will also get an off-road capable 4x4 drivetrain system with a low-ratio transfer case. 2021 MG Hector Facelift BS6 Spied at Dealership; Launch Soon - All Details

MG Motor India will launch the new Hector Facelift BS6 in the country on January 7, 2021. The upcoming facelifted MG Hector will get some minor cosmetic tweaks, some new features and a new dual-tone theme for the interior. However, there won't be any mechanical changes and it will continue to be powered by a BS6-compliant 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine. This petrol motor will churn out 143 PS of power and 250 Nm of peak torque and it will be available with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system too. The non-hybrid petrol mill will come paired to a six-speed DCT and a six-speed manual gearbox while the petrol hybrid motor will be mated to a six-speed manual gearbox only. It will also get a BS6-compliant 2.0-litre diesel engine that will churn out 170 PS of power and 350 Nm of peak torque and will come mated to a six-speed manual gearbox only. MG Hector Plus Seven Seater BS6

MG Motor India will launch not just one but two new cars this month. Along with the new Hector Facelift, the company will also launch the seven-seater version of the MG Hector Plus. The mechanicals of the Hector and Hector Plus are completely identical but there are some differences in transmission on offer. The Hector Plus gets a BS6-compliant 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine that churns out 143 PS of power and 250 Nm of peak torque and this petrol mill is available with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system too. The petrol-hybrid motor comes mated to a six-speed manual gearbox while the non-hybrid petrol motor is paired to a six-speed DCT (dual-clutch transmission). It also gets a BS6-compliant 2.0-litre diesel engine that churns out 170 PS of power and 350 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a six-speed manual gearbox only. Jeep India has officially announced that the India Premiere of the new Jeep Compass Facelift will take place of January 7, 2021. The company will even launch the SUV within this month. The new Compass Facelift will get an all-new interior scheme, revised exteriors and some new features. The all-new Jeep Compass Facelift will be powered by a BS6-compliant 2.0-litre multi-jet diesel engine. This oil-burner will churn out 170 PS of power and 350 Nm of peak torque and the engine will be paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 9-speed torque converter automatic transmission. It will also get a 1.4-litre BS6-compliant turbocharged petrol engine that will pump out 163 PS of power and 250 Nm of peak torque. Toyota has officially announced that the new Fortuner Facelift and the all-new Fortuner Legender will be launched in India on January 6, 2021. The new Fortuner Facelift and the Fortuner Legender will share mechanicals with each other. Both these SUVs will be powered by a BS6-compliant 2.8-litre diesel engine that will churn out 204 PS of monstrous power and 500 Nm of peak torque. The oil-burner will come mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed torque-converter automatic transmission. It will also get a 2.7-litre petrol engine that will churn out 166 PS of maximum power and 245 Nm of peak torque. The petrol mill will come mated to a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed torque-converter automatic transmission. It will be longer than the standard 3 Series and will have a longer wheelbase too. The new BMW 3 Series LWB will be powered by a BS6-compliant 2.0-litre TwinPower Turbo inline-four diesel engine that will churn out 190 PS of maximum power and 400 Nm of peak torque. It will also get a BS6-compliant 2.0-litre turbo petrol mill that will dish out 258 PS of power and 400 Nm of peak torque. Mercedes-Benz might soon launch the all-new 2021 Mercedes-Benz A-Class Limousine in India. The new A-Class Limousine was first showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo and it was expected to be launched by Diwali 2020, but, its launch was delayed. The carmaker will initially launch the Mercedes-AMG A35 and the regular A-Class Limousine will follow later. The Mercedes-AMG A35 will be powered by a new BS6-compliant 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine. It will be powered by a BS6-compliant 1.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine that will churn out 72 PS of power and 96 Nm of peak torque. It will also get an all-new 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine. This turbo petrol motor churns out 100 PS of maximum power at and 160 Nm of peak torque. The upcoming Tata Gravitas will be powered by the same new BS6-compliant 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine. This diesel motor will churn out 170 PS of maximum power and a whopping 350 Nm of peak torque. The engine will come mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. A turbo petrol motor might also follow at a later stage for the Harrier and the Gravitas.
