Toyota Rumion MPV Walkaround - Here Is How It Looks

Toyota India has launched its new MPV the Rumion in the Indian market. The brand has launched the MPV at a starting price of Rs 10.29 lakh (ex-showroom). The Rumion is launched in 3 variants with a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine paired with 5-speed manual and 6-speed AT gearbox. Now, after the launch the MPV has started reaching dealerships and a walkaround video of the same has been surfaced online.

The recently introduced Rumion is essentially a rebranded iteration of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, albeit featuring certain exterior alterations that set it apart in appearance. The exterior enhancements encompass a fresh front grille taking inspiration from the Innova Hycross, distinguished by chrome accents embellishing Rumion's grille. A distinctive touch is also evident in the revised design of the lower front bumper. On the lateral aspects, the vehicle is equipped with 15-inch alloy wheels characterized by a swirling pattern. Minimal adjustments are noticeable at the rear, primarily involving the bumper, with the overall rear profile retaining its familiarity.

The interior arrangement remains consistent, featuring a dashboard adorned with a Metallic Teak Wood Finish and complemented by Metallic Teak Wood Finish Door trim at the front. Noteworthy comfort amenities encompass an Height Adjustable Driver Seat, 2nd Row 60:40 Split Seats with Touch Recline and slide functionality, as well as a 3rd Row 50:50 Split with Recline Function. The interior's adaptability shines through its Flexible Luggage Space, equipped with the ability for the 3rd Row to be flat folded. Adding to the visual appeal are Premium Dual Tone Interiors and Plush Dual Tone Seat Fabric, along with various other remarkable elements.

Toyota Rumion - Engine Specifications

The Rumion also gets an identical powertrain as the Ertiga, housing a 1.5-liter petrol engine generating 103hp and 137Nm of torque. This engine is paired with a choice of either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. Notably, it also offers a factory-installed CNG kit, delivering 88hp and 121.5Nm when running on CNG, and 101hp and 136Nm when operating in petrol mode. Toyota Rumion's petrol variant achieves an impressive fuel efficiency of up to 20.51 kilometers per liter. Meanwhile, the CNG version achieves a mileage of 26.11 kilometers per kilogram.
