TVS Apache RTR 310 has been spied on yet again. While the bike is scheduled to debut soon, TVS is completing the final phase of testing. TVS Apache RTR 310 New Details
As seen in the close spy shots, the design of the RTR 310 will be very aggressive & youth-appealing. The rider's stance hints towards a commanding riding posture. Also, the design elements are completely different from the sibling BMW G 310 R. The spy video also captured the exhaust note which is very bassy when compared to the Apache RR 310. The design details include a big fuel tank with large extensions on both sides. The handlebar is a tubular unit with new mirrors & switchgear. Also, the headlight looks sharp from the side. The lighting on it will be a complete LED setup.
Other noticeable elements include a bigger and new rectangular TFT colour console. This unit will get a new UI as well as connected features like navigation, etc. Meanwhile, features like different ride modes will also be offered as standard. Underneath its fuel tank will sit the same powertrain as seen on the RR 310. The rear design is very unique to the Apache brand. It gets a distinctive LED taillight and a rear tyre hugger which also has the number plate & LED turn indicators mounted on it. Hardware includes a USD front suspension, preload adjustable rear monoshock, alloy wheels, disc brakes, etc. Its primary rivals upon the launch will be KTM 390 Duke & Triumph Speed 400.
Verdict
As per the Block Your Date invite sent by TVS, the expectations are that the Apache RTR 310 will launch on September 6. However, more details will be revealed as we approach the official launch timeline. The bike, meanwhile, looks ready for launch. Pricing will be a key factor for its success in India. We suspect that TVS will position it around Rs 2.5 lakh to Rs 2.75 lakh bracket.
