Bajaj has updated its entry-level Pulsar NS bike in India with new features. The new 2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS125 is now available at Rs 1.04 lakh (ex-showroom) pan India. 2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS125 - Update Details

Along with the newly updated Pulsar NS160 and Pulsar NS200, Bajaj has launched the new Pulsar NS125. The new model is updated with new features making it modern. The introductory pricing for it is Rs 1,04,922 (ex-showroom). The update includes a brand new LED headlight which is similar to the NS160 and NS200. Moreover, it gets a new LCD digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity.

The rider can access SMS/call alerts on the go with the help of this new console. Additionally, the instrument console shows the phone battery consumption details and more. Bajaj has also fitted a USB charging port for charging devices and a single-channel ABS for enhanced safety.

The powerplant of the new NS125 is the BS6 phase-2-compliant single-cylinder unit. This engine develops a peak power output of 11.8 bhp and a peak torque of 11 Nm. A 5-speed transmission is offered to deliver this power to the rear wheel. Other features include telescopic front suspension, an adjustable monoshock rear suspension, 17-inch alloy wheels, disc brakes, etc. The primary rivals of the new NS125 are the Hero Xtreme 125R and TVS Raider 125.

Verdict

The newly updated Pulsar NS125 has given a fresh appeal to the old-looking NS series. With the new connected technology, Bajaj will be able to attract more young buyers. However, the NS models now look old and Bajaj should work on a completely new design to transform their sales figures.
