VinFast VF7

This SUV comes equipped with a massive 70.8 kWh battery pack that produces 349 HP and 500 Nm of torque. According to VinFast, it sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.8 seconds. It also offers an impressive MIDC range of 532 km - enough to cover a round trip from Delhi to Agra and still have charge left for your Monday commute, claims the company. Inside, the cabin stands out with its unique single-screen setup: a 12.9-inch driver-oriented display that doubles as both the infotainment system and the drivers instrument cluster.
Moreover, the gear selector features a stylish piano-button finish that looks quite striking. The SUV also comes equipped with a panoramic glass roof, a PM 2.5 air filter, one-touch window operation, and interiors finished in vegan leather. VinFast is also offering two interior color themes - Black and Mocha Brown.
There are two battery pack options - a 59.6 kWh unit powering only the front wheels, and a larger 70.8 kWh pack that drives all four wheels. Before diving into the available variants, here are some special introductory offers from the company:
- Free charging at VGreen charging stations until July 2028

Verdict
VinFast has finally launched the VF6 and VF7 in India, and the pricing is spot on. This move was expected, given the brand's ambitious goals, and it clearly shows they've done their homework well. The VF6, priced under Rs 17 lakh, will take on rivals like the Hyundai Creta EV, MG Windsor Pro, Tata Curvv EV, and MG ZS EV. Meanwhile, the larger VF7, with its AWD setup, will compete against the Mahindra XEV 9e and Tata Harrier EV. Now, it will be interesting to see how the audience responds to this aggressive pricing strategy.
