Volkswagen Taigun

Last Updated on 16th Apr'24 : For a limited time period, Volkswagen Taigun prices have been quietly reduced by up to Rs1.1 lakhs for select variants. While this is a limited-time offer, the prices are expected to be hiked in the coming months. 

Taigun Price: The Volkswagen Taigun comes with a price range starting at Rs 11.62 lakh and going up to Rs 19.06 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). It's available in two main variants: the dynamic line and the performance line.

Engine : The Taigun offers two engine choices. The first is a 1-litre engine generating 113 bhp of power and 178Nm of torque. The second option is a 1.5-litre engine with a power output of 148 bhp and torque of 250Nm. Both engines are coupled with a standard 6-speed manual transmission. If you prefer automatic, the 1-litre engine comes with a 6-speed torque converter, while the 1.5-litre engine is equipped with a 7-speed DCT.

Safety: Volkswagen puts safety above all. The Volkswafen Taigun is equipped with world-class safety features so that you can have a safe driving experience. The strong German-engineered metal frame of the car is one of its highlights. Numerous active safety features like Electronic stability control, traction control, hill hold assist and brake-force distribution help you drive in any terrain. The features provide you with safety all around-the car with 3-point seat belts, front, side and curtain airbags and side impact protection beams. Moreover, to protect your children, the car comes with ISOFIX child seat mounts.

Dimensions : The Taigun measures 4221 mm in length, 1760 mm in width, and 1612 mm in height.

Features : Noteworthy features of the Taigun include a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, advanced connected car technology, ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, automatic climate control, a single-pane sunroof, and Paddle Shifters.

Safety : Safety measures for passengers include up to six airbags, a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), electronic stability control (ESC), hill hold control, multi-collision brakes, a rear-view camera, and seatbelt reminders for all passengers (standard).

Colour : The Taigun offers a choice of seven colours: Curcuma Yellow, Wild Cherry Red, Rising Blue Metallic, Reflex Silver, Carbon Steel Grey, Candy White, and Lava Blue.

Ground Clearance : The vehicle boasts a ground clearance of 188mm.

Rivals : The Volkswagen Taigun competes with other models like the Toyota Hyryder, Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Citroen C3 Aircross, Skoda Kushaq, MG Astor, and Honda Elevate.
