Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace Starts At A Price Of Rs 33.12 Lakh; Comes With 2.0L Petrol

Volkswagen has finally launched the first SUV of 2020 from their lot, Tiguan AllSpace which sets its price at Rs 33.12 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The seven-seater extended Tiguan gets a 2.0-litre, petrol engine under the hood which churns out 190 PS of power. It is mated to a 7-speed DSG gearbox.

Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace is built on the MQB AO IN platform and gets a longer wheelbase which in turns extends more space, flexibility and luggage room.

Sharing more details on the design of the SUV, the bonnet gets a raised stance and the grille comes with chrome bits which makes the vehicle look premium. Also, it comes with full LED headlight design along with LED Daytime Running Lights. It gets panoramic sunroof as one of its features and sits on 18-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the Tiguan AllSpace comes loaded with a digital instrument cluster with virtual cockpit. This shows the driver about the driving dynamics, vehicle status, infotainment and assist functions in the centre area of the speedometer and rev counter. It also comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as connectivity features. The SUV also comes with Park Assist feature.

Safety features on the all-new SUV include Antilock Braking System along with Electronic Brake Force Distribution. It also gets Electronic Stability Program, Seven Airbags, Electronic Differential Lock (EDL), Seat Belt Warning, ISOFIX mount child seats and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.

It sets a direct competition with Skoda Kodiaq which offers a similar taste of features and also known as a soft off-roader. The SUV also competes with the popular Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour.
