2025 Jeep Meridian: Variant Analysis

The 2025 Jeep Meridian has finally been launched, and while it doesn't come with a revolutionary design change, it focuses more on adding tech and equipment and making it more appealing to buyers. Prices for the new Meridian now begin from Rs 24.99 lakh (ex-showroom), which is Rs 4.9 lakh lesser than before.

2025 Jeep MeridianVariants

The new Meridian is available in four different variants, and their prices are listed below (all prices ex-showroom);

  • Longitude: Rs 24.99 lakh
  • Longitude Plus: Rs 27.50 lakh
  • Limited (O): Rs 30.49 lakh
  • Overland: Rs 36.99 lakh

The Meridian retains the 2.0-litre diesel engine setup, producing 168bhp and 350Nm of torque. Depending on the variant, this engine comes paired to either a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed torque-converter automatic transmission.

2025 Jeep Meridian Equipment and Features

The new Meridian is already quite feature-rich, but Jeep has done the distribution strategically to cater to the needs of various buyers. Here is a table showing some of the top features available in all the variants:

Longitude

The base Longitude trim comes as a five-seater, and it misses out on a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, as well as the 4x4 Selec-Terrain system among some other things. However, from the base variant onwards, you receive dual-zone climate control, along with 60+ passive safety features, six airbags, a 10.1-inch infotainment touch screen, automatic headlamps, a 6-speaker sound system, rain-sensing wipers and more. The base Longitude variant also comes in a five-seater.

Longitude Plus

The Meridian Longitude Plus adds a new Silvery Moon paint scheme, and in terms of features, it also adds wireless smartphone charging, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof. fog lamps doubling up as cornering lamps, and an auto-dimming IRVM.

The Longitude Plus also gets a seven-seater option with one-tumble 60:40 split second-row seats.

Limited (O)

The Limited (O) variant gets a powered tailgate, dual-tone Wicker beige and black interior upholstery, a 9-speaker Alpine sound system, the 4x4 Selec-Terrain system, puddle lamps, and lastly, this variant is available only with the 9-speed automatic transmission.

Overland

The Overland is the top-most variant in the Meridian lineup, and to begin with, its lower part of the front bumper are finished in body-paint, while also receiving the usual dosage of chrome. The grille inserts also receive chrome treatment, along with different 5-spoke alloy rims.

On the inside, you get a Tupelo dual-tone tan treatment, along with the Level 2 ADAS suite, with things such as adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation braking, blind spot detection, lane keep assist, speed assist, a 360-degree camera, and hill-hold.

Verdict

The fact that the new Meridian not only comes in at Rs 6 lakh lesser than before, but it also comes with a pretty solid features list and sensible distribution among them as well. Buyers in this segment should definitely look at the Meridian once, as it offers a highly efficient, yet punchy powertrain, along with some off-roading ability, and the looks of a Grand Cherokee.
