2020 Mini Clubman Cooper S Edition Launched At Rs 41.90 Lakh

Mini, a part of BMW Group has now launched the 2020 Clubman Cooper S Edition in India at a starting price of Rs 41.90 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. However, what's surprising that at this price you can only avail the entry-level moonwalk grey metallic colour.

Yes, and if you are to choose for other colour options then you have to shell out an additional Rs 63,000 out of your pocket. Those other colours are Melting Silver, Chilli Red, British Racing Green, Pepper White, Midnight Black, Thunder Grey, White Silver and Starlight Blue. Also, for another Rs 1.30 lakh, you can get an Enigmatic black colour option too.

This Cooper S edition of Clubman features minimal yet noticeable changes to the exteriors and interiors. From the outside, you get to choose between silver net spoke and black net spoke 17-inch alloy wheels. Also, the buyers can choose from the body-coloured roof with mirror caps, black roof with mirror caps and white roof and mirror caps. Such is the customisation level Mini is providing for the new Clubman Cooper S edition.

Moving towards the interiors then not much has been changed except for the new colour options - grey checkered and piano black. Feature-wise, it gets automatic climate control, cruise control, multi-functional steering wheel, memory adjustable front seat for the driver, sports seat and among other features.

The S badging continues on the outside at the grille and at the rear profile. The car continues with LED treatment on the headlights, foglights and taillights, piano black accents, ambient lighting and you can also get bonnet striped which gives the Clubman Cooper S a sporty appeal.

Under the hood, the Clubman Cooper S gets a 2.0-litre petrol engine which makes 189 hp with 280 Nm of peak torque. Also, this engine gets paired to a seven-speed dual-clutch Steptronic transmission which makes the gear shifting a lot quicker. It does 0-100 km/h sprint in a mere 7.2 seconds.

Safety features on the Mini Clubman Cooper S include eight dual-stage airbags, adaptive cruise control, ABS with EBD and ESP, dynamic stability control, brake assist and among other features.
