2022 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Launched, Equipped with DRL Headlamp

2022 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V features a new headlamp assembly with LED DRL and even offers segment-first features such as multiple riding modes, adjustable front suspension and TVS SmartXonnect Bluetooth 

TVS Motor Company, the renowned South India-based two-wheeler and three-wheeler manufacturer has just introduced the 2022 TVS Apache RTR 200 4V with a handful of updates. The new model comes with a revised headlamp cluster that features an LED Daytime Running Lamp (DRL).

Other than this, the motorcycle also receives some first-in-class features, including multiple riding modes  Sport, Urban and Rain. These should help one have an enhanced ride experience based on the riding conditions. Also, the motorcycle gets Showa front shock absorbers with preload adjustments that allow the rider to tune the suspension for ride quality and improved handling. Meanwhile, the rear suspension has been tuned for improved track performance.  

On the other hand, the TVS SmartXonnect offers its uses with an array of data and even race analytics to help improve his riding style and performance. Finally, the updated TVS Apache RTR 200 4V also comes with adjustable brake and clutch levers that offer 3-step adjustment to help a rider find a riding position that best suits him. These levels have been designed based on the phalange of the middle finger and cover 5-95 percentile of riders.

Not much has changed in terms of engine specifications. The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V continues to be powered by the 197.75cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 4-valve, oil-cooled engine that comes mated to a 5-speed transmission. The motor outputs a maximum power of 20.82 PS of maximum power at 9,000 RPM along with a peak torque of 17.25 Nm at 7,800 RPM. The refreshed Apache RTR 200 4V has gone on sale at Rs 1,38,900* for the dual-channel ABS variant and Rs 1,33,840* for the single-channel ABS-equipped version. The new model is available in three colour options, viz. Pearl White, Matte Blue and Gloss Black.
