2024 Hyundai Alcazar Launched At Rs 14.99 Lakh, Gets New Design, Features & More

Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL) has launched the 2024 Hyundai Alcazar at Rs 14.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Alcazar has a new design language, features, and two engine options. The 2024 Alcazar takes some design inspiration from the new Creta launched earlier this year. The Alcazar is available with a 1.5-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. 2024 Hyundai Alcazar - Exterior, Interior, & Features

The new Alcazar comes with an all-new design, the new design takes some design inspirations from the Creta facelift but it does get some different elements as well. The front fascia of the SUV boasts a new front grille with horizontal slats, an H-shaped LED DRL with a connecting light bar, a vertically stacked LED headlamp similar to the Creta, and an all-new front bumper with silver skid plates. On the sides, it gets new 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, silver side body cladding, sharp body lines, blacked-out pillars, and roof rails. The rear profile gets an all-new H-shaped LED taillamp with a connected light bar, a new rear bumper with silver skid plates, and a dual exhaust tip.

On the interior, the Alcazar gets a similar dashboard as the Creta. It boasts dual 10.25-inch screens for infotainment and instrument cluster, similar HVAC assembly of Creta. However, the brand has given a new dual-tone colour theme to the interior which gives a premium appeal. Moving to the features, it gets dual-zone climate control, a huge panoramic sunroof, steering-mounted controls, wireless charging, ventilated front seats and rear seats (6-seater variant), a power-adjustable driver seat with memory function, and wireless charging in the second row among other features.

If we talk about the safety features, it gets 6-airbags as standard, ABS with EBD, ESP, hill-hold, electric parking brake, level-2 ADAS with autonomous braking, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and other features.

The new Alcazar is available in 6- and 7-seater configurations. The 6-seater version gets captain seats in the second row with ventilation while the 7-seater variant gets a bench. Moreover, it gets a winged headrest for enhanced comfort.

2024 Hyundai Alcazar Engine

The 2024 Alcazar comes with a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 160 PS of power and 253 Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated with a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT gearbox. The other engine is the 1.5-litre diesel engine producing 116 PS of power and 250 Nm of peak torque. This is mated with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed AT gearbox.
