2024 Maruti Dzire Facelift Spied

The Swift facelift has already been globally unveiled, offering a glimpse into its design, which is anticipated to be reflected in the upcoming 2024 Maruti Dzire. Sharing the same platform and engine choices, both cars are expected to align closely, as they have been already since their inception.

The new Dzire's exterior design takes cues from the fourth-generation Swift, highlighting a prominent large grille. Noteworthy is the Suzuki logo positioned prominently outside the grille, marking a departure in design. The inclusion of a clamshell bonnet imparts a muscular touch, contributing to a more robust look for the Dzire compared to its predecessor.

The Dzire gets a sportier look thanks to a redesigned lower bumper with sharp lines and creases. This sets it apart from the Swift, along with its unique 5-spoke alloy wheels. While the front resembles the Swift, the side profile shows off a distinct design with new pillars, doors, and windows. A chrome line accents the windows for a touch of sophistication.

Interiors: Updates Incoming

Step inside the Dzire and you'll find a familiar layout borrowed from the new Swift. While the overall dashboard stays the same, the center console gets a refresh. Say goodbye to old vents and dials - new, sleeker center AC vents, a larger 9-inch infotainment screen, and a modern toggle-style climate control panel, inspired by the Swift facelift will breathe new life into the interior. It's an upgrade that focuses on both style and functionality, enhancing your driving experience without straying too far from the well-liked Dzire design.

Powertrain: New Z-Series Engine

In the engine compartment, the upcoming Maruti Dzire is set to have the same powerplant as the Swift. Featuring a 1.2L 3-cylinder Z-series naturally aspirated petrol engine, the car is capable of delivering 82 bhp of peak power and 108 Nm of peak torque. Despite a reduction in performance figures compared to the current K-Series 4-cylinder engine, the new engine showcases an impressive fuel efficiency reaching up to 24.5 km/l.

The new Dzire is expected to launch soon after the launch of 2024 Maruti Swift facelift. It goes up against the likes of Honda Amaze, Tata Tigor, and the Hyundai Aura.
