Tata Motors has officially rolled out the 2025 Tiago NRG, bringing in subtle yet essential changes to keep the rugged hatchback fresh in the market. 2025 Tata Tiago NRG: Exterior Updates
The 2025 Tata Tiago NRG maintains its rugged character while introducing a few improvements in the styling. The front end now sports a reworked bumper with a more prominent silver skid plate. The skid plate is paired with extensive matte black cladding that amplifies its off-road-inspired stance. The side profile remains familiar but gets an infinity black roof with integrated roof rails as a new addition.
At the rear, the NRG continues to carry its muscular tailgate design but now features a thick silver skid plate similar to the front. The black panel connecting the taillights also holds the NRG badging, further distinguishing it from the regular Tiago. While the updates enhance its overall appeal, the car retains its 15-inch alloy wheels from the previous iteration.
2025 Tata Tiago NRG: Interior Upgrades and Feature Additions
On the inside, the Tiago NRG comes with an all-black charcoal-themed cabin that provides a sportier ambiance. One of the standout additions is the illuminated Tata logo on the two-spoke steering wheel. The dashboard, seats and other interior elements follow the same blacked-out theme, maintaining uniformity in its rugged appeal.
On the tech front, Tata has upgraded the Tiago NRG with a new 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system. The new 10.25 now offers wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay for seamless connectivity. Other added conveniences include keyless entry, a push start-stop button, auto-folding ORVMs and a height-adjustable driver's seat. As for the safety, the new Tiago NRG has dual airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC) and the addition of a rear parking camera for improved visibility.
Powertrain: Now With AMT on CNG
Mechanically, the 2025 Tiago NRG remains unchanged, retaining its 1.2-liter petrol and petrol-CNG engine options. However, a significant update comes in the form of an AMT which will now be available with the CNG variant as well. This addition makes it a more convenient choice for buyers.
