Hyundai Motor appears to be gearing up for the launch of the new-generation Venue in the Indian market soon. 2026 Hyundai Venue
The upcoming Hyundai Venue showcases an updated front design, featuring a wider and more imposing parametric grille, a new bumper, and a revised skid plate. The headlamp design has also been updated, incorporating a split headlamp setup and Creta-like LED daytime running lights (DRLs), which appear to be connected in the latest spy images.
The side profile will feature aerodynamically shaped diamond-cut alloy wheels, slightly modified outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs), robust wheel arches, and sharp body lines. Moving to the rear, the model will now include redesigned tail lamps with a connected LED light strip and a new bumper equipped with a skid plate.
The spy images reveal that the interior of the new model features a steering wheel similar to that of the Creta Electric, fabric seats, and an electric sunroof. It is expected to come equipped with a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, wireless charging, and a new digital instrument console, along with several other modern features.
In terms of safety, the standard features will include six airbags, ISOFIX mounts, and five three-point seatbelts, among others. The top-spec versions are anticipated to include advanced safety technologies such as Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, and a blind-spot monitor, along with additional advanced safety features.
2026 Hyundai Venue Powertrain
The 2026 Venue will maintain similar powertrain and transmission options as the current model. The existing model is equipped with three engine choices: a 1.5-liter diesel engine, a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, and a 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine. Transmission options include a 6-speed iMT, a 5-speed manual transmission, and a 7-speed DCT.
Verdict
The new gen Hyundai Venue will be the biggest update to the model in the last few years. With updated features and a fresh design, the Venue will become a more formidable rival in the sub-4 meter SUV segment. Hyundai is known for packing their cars with a plethora of features, and the upcoming Venue will be no exception. However, pricing will play a crucial role in determining the success of this update.
