2025 Bharat Mobility Auto Expo: The highly anticipated automotive event, Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 is scheduled from January 17 to 22 in New Delhi, highlighting Indias emergence as a global mobility hub. Organised by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), the number of two and four-wheeler brands participating in next year's edition is said to be more than those of the first edition held in 2024.

The confirmed list of carmakers participating in the Expo includes Tata Motors, Toyota India, Maruti Suzuki, JSW MG Motor India, Hyundai, Kia, Mahindra, BMW India, SKODA India, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and Isuzu Motors. MG Cyberster

One of the star attractions of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 will be the powerful electric roadster, MG Cyberster. This highly anticipated vehicle will be sold through the exclusive MG Select retail channel, embodying the brand's commitment to bringing accessible luxury to Indian customers. The MG Cyberster design is eye-catching, featuring sleek, aerodynamic lines highlighting its sports DNA.

With futuristic styling, an aggressive front, and bold contours, its designed to turn heads on the road. High on performance, the MG Cyberster offers lightning-fast acceleration and precise handling, an unmatched experience for those who crave power and control. Hyundai Creta EV

Next on the list is the Hyundai Creta, which will compete mainly against the newly launched Mahindra BE 6, the Tata Curvv EV, and Maruti's upcoming EV. The Creta EV is expected to be priced at around INR 20 lakh (ex-showroom). It features dual dashboard screens, most likely the same 10.25-inch panels found on the existing Creta. Boasting impressive amenities like a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone auto air conditioning, a wireless phone charger, and powered and ventilated front seats, this EV will surely make a strong value proposition.

It is expected to include EV-specific features such as vehicle-to-load (V2L) charging and regenerative braking. The powertrain details are yet to be disclosed. It could include two battery pack options, with a range of roughly 400 km, ideal for both, city and long commuting.

Toyota Urban Cruiser EV

The Toyota Urban Cruiser EV, a rebadged version of the Maruti eVitara, marks Toyota's entry into India's growing electric vehicle segment. Designed for urban mobility, this compact electric SUV promises is a mix of style, practicality, and eco-friendliness. The Urban Cruiser EV inherits its core engineering from the Maruti eVitara but incorporates Toyotas signature design cues, such as a unique grille and distinctive badging, to set it apart.

Powered by a high-performance electric motor and up to 61 kWh lithium-ion battery, it is expected an estimated range of 500-550 km on a single charge. Its interior features modern amenities like dual fully digital displays, connected car tech, and advanced safety features.

Maruti E-Vitara

The unveiling of the Maruti E-Vitara at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 represents a pivotal moment for Maruti Suzuki as it steps into the electric mobility era. Featuring a smart design, an impressive driving range, and expected competitive pricing, the EV is set to make waves in the Indian car market. The E-VITARA is described as an 'Emotional Versatile Cruiser,' combining advanced electric performance with a modern design. Maruti Suzuki aims to present the vehicle as a practical and stylish choice for contemporary consumers, keeping up with market trends and customer expectations.

New SKODA Kodiaq

SKODA is set to make waves at the Bharat Mobility Show in January 2025 with the debut of the second-generation Kodiaq, slated for market launch in mid-2025. Retaining its reliable 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine producing 190hp and 320Nm of torque, the new Kodiaq will feature a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox and 4X4 setup, ensuring a seamless driving experience. Building on its predecessors legacy, the SUV showcases SKODAs Modern Solid design language, resulting in a slightly longer body that offers enhanced cabin space and increased boot capacity.

It will retain the popular 7-seater layout, catering to families and adventurers alike. Set to rival models like the Toyota Fortuner and MG Gloster, the Kodiaq is poised to strengthen its position in the premium SUV segment.
