Verdict: Citroen is advertising its new C3 Aircross as a 5 + 2 seater SUV. Whereas Maruti advertises its Ertiga as a 7-seater MPV. Moreover, the Maruti Ertiga has a longer overall length & wheelbase than C3 Aircross, whereas the C3 Aircross is wider & has higher ground clearance than Maruti Ertiga. C3 Aircross is also the one to offer a turbo petrol engine but only with a manual gearbox, whereas Maruti Ertiga offers only a naturally aspirated petrol engine with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
