The MG M9 MPV has been spotted testing, completely undisguised, and a member of the 91wheels WhatsApp Community was kind enough to share these images with us! The M9 MPV was among the many cars showcased at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo, and MG has commenced pre-bookings for it.

MG M9 Electric MPV Details
We all know what the M9 MPV looks like, featuring a very premium design with sharp, modern elements even for an MPV, making it stand out, and it will definitely have some amount of road presence. It gets full-length LED strips on both ends, along with door-handles that look like one unit. The tail lamps of the M9 are sharp and dynamic, and they will remind of some Japanese MPVs.
The M9 MPV comes with a 90kWh battery pack, which gets a WLTP-claimed range of 580km on a single charge in the international model. It remains to be seen whether this will change on the India-spec model. The battery pack can be charged from 5 to 100% in a claimed time of 8.5 hours via a 11kW AC charger. Alternatively, a DC fast charger will juice up the battery from 30 to 80% in a claimed time of 30 minutes.
The M9 MPV comes in three variants, and it remains to be seen which ones will make it to India. In terms of features, it comes with things like electric sliding rear doors, powered tailgate, powered ORVMs with heating and memory function, climate conttrol, air purifier, power adjustable seats with ventilation and massage function, a privacy glass, a 12 speaker sound system, and 64 colour ambient lighting among other things. It also gets an ADAS suite, along with a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, autonomous emergency braking and more.

MG is likely conducting real-world testing of the M9 before its imminent launch which could likely take place in March. It will not have any direct rivals at launch, but the Kia Carnival could be considered as a close alternative.
Verdict
The M9 MPV is going to be the second car to be sold under the MG Select outlets, and it is going to serve as an interesting alternative for buyers who may be shopping in the premium categories, giving them the option of an electric MPV in a sea of SUVs and sedans.
