The Force Gurkha is currently one of the most capable 4X4 off-roaders that we have in the market right now. With this being said, with rising manufacturing costs, the Force Gurkha price was recently hiked by the brand. Here are all the details that you should check about this price hike. For starters, the Gurkha BS6 was launched in the market in September 2021 at a starting price of INR 13.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The brand has now increased the price of the Force Gurkha 4X4 by RS 51,000 and the car is now priced from INR 14.10 lakh (ex-showroom).

With the launch of the BS6 version, the Gurkha featured a long list of cosmetic and mechanical updates. To start with, it boasts better underpinnings and is now compliant with the latest safety regulations. The SUV also offers LED headlamps, LED DRLs, new 16-inch alloy wheels, and improved capabilities.

The SUV continues to be powered by the same old Mercedes-Benz sourced 2.6-L turbo diesel engine that delivers 90hp and 250Nm of peak torque. This engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and boasts commendable low-end, thus making the Gurkha a great car to tackle those extreme off-road scenarios. In addition to this, it also gets a 4X$ drivetrain with a low-ratio transfer case, live axles at the front and at the rear, and rear locking differentials. A compact footprint further helps it offer a better off-roading experience.
