So, as you have seen in the above tables, Ford has hiked the price of the new EcoSport by 20,000 rupees. Now, if we talk about the powertrain options, so the new Ford EcoSport is powered by a BS6 compliant 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine. This petrol motor churns out 122 PS of power at 6500 RPM and 149 Nm of peak torque at 4500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and it gets a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission too. The EcoSport also gets a BS6 compliant 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine. This oil-burner churns out 100 PS of maximum power at 3750 RPM and 215 Nm of peak torque between 1750-2500 RPM.
