
With the ease in lockdown since May 4, 2020, several carmakers are back to business partially. They are improving the sales experience by introducing online platforms, maintaining social distancing while delivering cars and showroom visits. Also, amidst this lockdown, car sales have gone down and to improve that experience, many carmakers are introducing discounts and Hyundai is one of them.

Hyundai is providing discounts on some of its models like Grand i10, Grand i10 Nios, Elite i20, Elantra and Santro. It is the petrol version of the Elantra which bags the highest discounts up to Rs 1 lakh and the discounts vary from dealer to dealer. It depends on your skill for how much you can bargain
Hyundai Elantra Car Discounts
The carmaker is offering up to Rs 1 lakh of discounts. The sedan rivals with Honda Civic and that makes it a steal. It comes in a sole 2.0L petrol engine which makes 152 bhp. It will get a diesel engine soon with the same capacity as that of Hyundai Creta - a 1.5L diesel churning 115 bhp!

Hyundai Grand i10 BS6
Hyundai is offering total discounts of Rs 45,000 on this car. This model only comes with a 1.2L petrol engine which makes 83 bhp and 114 Nm of peak torque. It is available with a 5-speed manual gearbox only and no automatic is available currently.
Hyundai Elite i20 BS6
This model is available with discounts for as much as Rs 35,000 and is offered only in a BS6 compliant petrol engine. Hyundai recently discontinued the 1.4L diesel and 1.4L petrol engine for the same. A new model of i20 is expected to launch later this year and will pack more features and recent technologies.
Hyundai Santro
The entry-level hatchback, Santro is offered with as much as Rs 50,000 discounts. It depends on what trim you are buying. If you are opting for the base trim that is Era then it is available with Rs 10,000. Moving onto the Magna, Sportz and Asta then Hyundai is offering Rs 20,000 discount and then there's an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 and Rs 5,000 corporate discount.

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios
This model is available with a flat Rs 25,000 discount on any trims. The car is a successor to the Grand i10 and comes with both 1.2L BS6 compliant petrol and diesel engine. The hatchback prices start from Rs 5.06 lakh and the top model fetches till Rs 8.06 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.

Please note that the recently launched models like the 2020 Hyundai Creta, Kona EV, Venue and Aura are not offered with any discounts as they're in heavy demand.
