What's New Inside?

While the Altroz retains its recognizable dashboard layout, notable refinements have been made to improve both aesthetics and user experience. The facelifted model features a streamlined dashboard with extensive use of gloss black accents, lending a more polished and premium feel. One of the key highlights is a large, seamlessly integrated touchscreen infotainment system that dominates the center console, replacing the layered look of its predecessor.

The air-conditioning controls have also been modernized, adopting touch-sensitive panels paired with tactile toggle switches for fan speed and temperature adjustments - similar to what we have seen on Tata's newer SUV models.

Fully Digital Cockpit Experience

A major upgrade is the new digital instrument cluster, expected to be a widescreen unit akin to the one found in the Nexon. This screen is customizable and offers multiple display modes, including integrated navigation - a first for the Altroz.

Adding to the modern vibe is Tata's new two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo. Additionally, the automatic variants will benefit from the brand's shift-by-wire gear selector, another feature trickling down from Tata's larger models.

Packed With Tech

If you are rech-savvy buyer, u will like the inclusion of a 360-degree camera, offering a comprehensive view for easier parking and maneuvering. Tata has also retained the single-pane sunroof, along with voice-command functionality for various in-car operations.

Exterior Changes and Expected Engine Options

Tata Altroz Facelift

Tata has already teased the Altroz facelift's exterior, which features sharp new bi-projector LED headlamps, a bolder front grille, a reworked bumper, flush door handles, and sleek connected LED tail lamps.

While the cabin and exterior have seen major updates, the mechanical package is expected to remain unchanged. The Altroz facelift is likely to continue with the same engine lineup: a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol, and the segment-unique 1.5-litre diesel engine - though Tata has yet to confirm the diesel's future in the range.

Market Positioning

Tata Altroz Facelift

Upon launch, the revamped Altroz will renew its rivalry with segment heavyweights like the Hyundai i20 and Maruti Suzuki Baleno, aiming to set itself apart with fresh tech, enhanced design, and Tata's commitment to safety and value.

With the official unveiling just around the corner, the Altroz facelift is shaping up to be one of the most awaited launches in the premium hatchback segment this year.

If priced right, the Altroz facelift might just leap ahead of its Korean and Japanese rivals.
