Coming to the features, Hyundai Exter hits the ball out of the park with a lot of segment-1st inclusions. These include wireless chargers, footwell lighting, rear AC vents with power outlets, an on-board navigation system and paddle shifters. This makes it even more lucrative for new buyers in the market. On top of this, it gets other features like the USB C fast charger, automatic AC Push button start, electric sunroof, TPMS, rear wiper and washer, digital cluster, and 8-inch infotainment unit with Android Auto/ Apple CarPlay.

On the other hand, Punch packs a 'punch' in itself as well when it comes to features. It gets a 7-inch infotainment display, rear wiper with washer, cruise control, cooled glove box rain sensing wipers, cooled glove box, projector headlamps and more. Let's check out the safety parameters.

Both the SUVs are high on safety, but there are things the Exter does better. For starters, it gets 6 airbags right from its base variant, whereas the top model of Tata Punch comes with only 2. Hyundai Exter Vs Punch- Engine

Hyundai Exter comes with a single 1.2 L petrol engine mated to a 5-speed Manual and an AMT gearbox. It puts out a power of 83PS with a peak torque of 113.8 Nm. There is a CNG variant on offer as well, where the power figures see a drop. It's interesting to note that the CNG version comes with a 5-speed manual only. Let's chart it out.
