Kia is all set to launch the EV6 in June 2022 and the bookings for the same will commence from May 26. Ahead of its official launch, the brochure of the Kia EV6 has been leaked and we share with you all its details ranging from the features to the battery capacity, driving range and the colour options.
India bound Kia EV6 will be powered by a 77.4 kWh battery pack that will get a driving range of 528 km. In the real world, even if the range comes to 350-400 km then it is more than enough considering we are still adapting to the electric vehicles and the infrastructure.
What's interesting is that using the 350 kW DC fast charger, the battery can be charged in just 18% from a mere 10% to 80%. If that isn't available then the 50kW DC fast charger can juice up the battery from 10% to 80% in just 73 minutes. The EV6 can achieve 0 to 100 kmph speed in just 3.5 seconds.

This battery pack will be sold with two set-ups, a rear-wheel-drive setup and an all-wheel-drive set-up. The former will produce 229 PS of power on tap with a peak torque of 350 Nm while the AWD set-up produces peak power and torque of 325 PS and 605 Nm respectively.
Feature-wise, the EV6 is equipped with all-LED headlights, power-folding ORVMs, a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, dual-zone HVAC function, ventilated front seats, power-adjustable front seats with memory function offered for the driver, Kia connect with over 60 features and more.
Safety equipment on the upcoming EV6 includes eight airbags, all-wheel disc brakes, ABS with EBD and ESP, multi-collision brake assist, hill-start assist control, vehicle stability management and more. It also features ADAS that further gets lane keep assist, blind-spot monitoring system, smart cruise control and others.

Colour options on the Kia EV6 include snow white pearl, runway red, aurora black pearl, yacht blue and moonscape. It measures 4695 mm in length, 1890 mm in width, 1550 mm in height and gets a wheelbase of 2900 mm. It will be brought in India via the CBU route and expect the price to be north of Rs 55 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
