Kia Carens Service Costs Explained (Petrol & Diesel)

Kia today launched the Carens MPV in India and surprised everyone with an extremely low entry price of Rs 8.99 lakh. The Carens locks horn with rivals like the Maruti Nexa XL6 and the Mahindra Marazzo along with other 6/7 seater SUVs like the Hyundai Alcazar and the MG Hector Plus. With ex-showroom prices being so good, what about the after sales part? Here is a quick look at Kia Carens service costs - useful for those looking at purchasing this MPV.

The table below showcases what an owner will pay for each service that takes place every 10,000km. For reference, we have only made the table till 50,000km

Do note, the prices above do not include GST. These are the Kia Carens service costs for the regular routine maintenance. For exact prices, do get in touch with a Kia workshop near your place. As you can see above, expectedly, the diesel Carens has the highest regular maintenance cost. But for 50,000km you will still be paying just 42 paise per km on an average. In contrast, the 1.5 non turbo petrol has an average maintenance cost of 37 paise per km. Excellent, eh?

Kia offers the Carens with a 3 Years Warranty for Unlimited Kms & up to 5th Year optional Extended Warranty. The MPV also comes with 3 Years 24/7 Roadside Assistance as standard.
