Ahead of the launch, a number of online reports suggest that the upcoming Kia Carens will be available in more than 6 variants. The Kia Carens is the 6/7 seater version of Kia Seltos and will offer a powerful powertrain and a feature-rich cabin. Here are all the details that you should know about the Kia Carens variants that will be on offer in the Indian market.
As per the online reports that surfaced online, the Kia Carens will be available in multiple variants which includes L, LX, EX, EX+, TX, and TX+. Many of the Kia Carens variants will be further divided into further trim levels like:
- L - HTP / HTM
- LX - Premium
- EX - Prestige
- EX+ - Prestige+
- TX - Luxury
- TX+ - Luxury+.

All these variants will be offering value for money for the buyers and will come with a long list of features. The top variant of the Carens will offer features like a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and will support Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, UVO connectivity, and GPS tracking. Other features like sunroof, steering mounted control, ventilated seats, powered seats wireless charger, automatic climate control, AI-assisted voice commands, geofence alert, and remote access are also there with the package.
The Kia Carens will get the same 1.4-litre turbo petrol motor and a 1.5-litre turbo diesel motor that we have seen in the Kia Seltos. The petrol engine puts out max power of 140 ps and 242 of net torque mated to a 6-speed manual or DCT automatic transmission. The diesel engine churns out 115 ps of max power and 250 Nm of net torque. This engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter automatic. Talking about the design, the Caren gets SUV style designing and features a really impressive front fascia. The sculpted door panels and body-coloured ORVMs with integrated turn signals complement the design language.

As expected from Kia, the car is expected to feature a premium quality cabin with a commendable fit and finish. Buyers of the Carens will get to opt between a 6-seat variant and a 7-seat variant.
