Kia Prices Reduced by Up to Rs. 4.48 Lakhs

The GST Council recently introduced sweeping changes to the taxation structure on automobiles, lowering rates for small cars and mid-size SUVs while applying a uniform 40% GST rate on larger SUVs and luxury vehicles. Kia India has confirmed that these reductions will directly translate into customer savings. Kia's SUV-heavy lineup benefits substantially from the GST 2.0 revision. Depending on the model and variant, customers can now save anywhere between Rs. 48,000 and Rs. 4.48 lakh.
Model-wise GST Benefits (Effective September 22, 2025):
- Kia Sonet -Upto Rs. 1,64,471 reduction
- Kia Syros -Upto Rs. 1,86,003 reduction
- Kia Seltos -Upto Rs. 75,372 reduction
- Kia Carens -Upto Rs. 48,513 reduction
- Kia Carens Clavis -Upto Rs. 78,674 reduction
- Kia Carnival -Upto Rs. 4,48,542 reduction
The Kia Carnival leads the way, with a sharp drop that makes it considerably more competitive against Toyota's Innova Hycross and other premium MPVs.
