A-Class Limousine & GLA Luxury Models Get Cheaper

Mercedes-Benz's most accessible luxury offerings, the A200d sedan and the GLA 220d 4MATIC AMG Line SUV, have both become significantly more affordable.
- A200d - Now priced at Rs. 45.95 lakh, down by Rs. 3 lakh from its earlier price of Rs. 48.55 lakh.
- GLA 220d 4MATIC AMG Line - Revised to Rs. 52.70 lakh, reflecting a reduction of about Rs. 4.20 lakh from its earlier Rs. 56.50 lakh tag.
This adjustment narrows the gap between entry-level luxury models and higher-end mainstream premium cars, making them stronger value propositions for first-time luxury buyers.
C-Class & GLC - Mid-Segment Models With Big Reductions

Price cuts extend into mid-segment models that play a critical role for Mercedes in India.
- C-Class sedan - Variants see a reduction of Rs. 5-6 lakh on average.
- GLC 300 4MATIC SUV - Now costs Rs. 73.95 lakh, down by about Rs. 5.3 lakh from the earlier Rs. 79.25 lakh.
E-Class Long Wheelbase - Bestseller Gets New Pricing

The E-Class LWB, a long-time bestseller for Mercedes in India, has also seen notable adjustments:
- E200 Petrol - Now at Rs. 78.5 lakh (- Rs. 6.2 lakh).
- E220d Diesel - Now at Rs. 80.5 lakh (- Rs. 5.5 lakh).
- E450 4MATIC AMG Line - Now at Rs. 91.7 lakh (- Rs. 6.2 lakh).
Mercedes-Benz has also introduced a new Verde Silver paint option for the E-Class, commemorating nearly a year of its success in India.
GLS & S-Class - Highest Savings At The Top End

The flagship SUVs and sedans from Mercedes-Benz deliver the steepest price drops under GST 2.0.
- S 450 4MATIC - Price cut of Rs. 11 lakh, now at Rs. 1.88 crore, down from Rs. 1.99 crore.
- GLS 450d AMG Line - Now priced at Rs. 1.34 crore, following a cut of nearly Rs. 10 lakh from its earlier Rs. 1.44 crore.
These reductions make Mercedes cars, especially the flagship models, more competitive in the ultra-luxury space, particularly against rivals like BMW's 7 Series and Audi's Q8.
Verdict
With GST 2.0 rationalising taxes on luxury cars, Mercedes-Benz India has passed the entire benefit to customers, offering savings of up to Rs. 11 lakh on the purchase of Mercedes cars. The revised pricing not only strengthens Mercedes' position across entry, mid, and flagship segments but also arrives at a strategic time, just ahead of the festive season. From the accessible A-Class to the opulent S-Class, buyers now have stronger incentives to make their purchase earlier than planned.
