Kia Syros: Technology

One of the standout features of the Kia Syros is its industry-first Over-the-Air (OTA) software update system which allows automatic updates for 16 controllers without the need for a dealership visit- a feature typically reserved for high-end luxury cars. You also get a connected car experience with Kia Connect 2.0 offers more than 80 smart features.

To ensure seamless vehicle diagnostics and maintenance, Kia has introduced Kia Connect Diagnosis (KCD), which enables users to remotely assess their vehicle's health and schedule service appointments. Additionally, Kia Advanced Total Care (KATC) proactively notifies customers about essential maintenance and repair requirements. All of this ensures a stress-free ownership experience.

Kia Syros: Interiors

One unique that will help Syros to record high numbers on the sales charts is its spacious cabin, the Syros boasts a 2,550mm wheelbase that ensures a spacious cabin. The highlight of the interior is the large 76.2 cm (30") Trinity Panoramic Display panel that serves as a digital cockpit for navigation and infotainment.

Other premium comfort features include a dedicated 5-inch climate control display for easy access to temperature settings, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a Harman Kardon 8-speaker sound system for an immersive audio experience. The Syros also offers the segment's first rear-seat comfort with features like rear seat ventilation, and a sliding and reclining 60:40 split rear seat configuration. Kia Syros is equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) which includes 16 autonomous safety features that enhance driver confidence on the road. The SUV's comprehensive safety package includes Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Front Collision Warning with Avoidance Assist, Lane Keep Assist, a 360-degree camera with a blind view monitor, Electronic Stability Control, Hill Start Assist Control and six airbags for superior protection.

Visually, the Syros boasts a bold and muscular stance, accentuated by Kia's signature Starmap LED lighting, the Digital Tiger Face, and R17 and crystal-cut alloy wheels.

Kia Syros Engine Options

The Kia Syros comes with two engine options catering to different driving needs. The Smartstream 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine delivers 120PS and 172Nm of torque, while the 1.5-liter CRDi diesel engine offers 116PS and 250Nm of torque. Both engines are available with manual and automatic transmission options, including Kia's first-ever Smartstream G1.0 turbo GDI with a 6-speed manual transmission.

Variants and Pricing

The Syros is available in four major trims-HTK, HTK+, HTX, and HTX+-. The base price is Rs. 8.99 lakh while for the top-end HTX+ variant prices go up to Rs. 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV is available with a diverse colour palette of eight shades that include Glacier White Pearl, Sparkling Silver, Pewter Olive, Intense Red, Frost Blue, Aurora Black Pearl, Imperial Blue and Gravity Gray.

Availability

Bookings for the Kia Syros are now open with a token deposit of Rs. 25,000. Customers can reserve their vehicles at Kia dealerships across India or through the company's official website. The ADAS safety package is available as an optional upgrade for Rs. 80,000 over the price of the top variant.
