- Could come with AWD setting
- Expected to launch in 2026
Mahindra BE Rall-E, the off-road-centric version of the BE 6, was recently spotted again, fully camouflaged in a parking lot in Chennai. This electric off-roader was first showcased in 2023, but it's been over two years, and there's still no information on when it will be launched. Still, this is a very important and unique car that deserves your attention. So, let's talk about it below. Mahindra BE Rall-E

Mahindra BE Rall-E, as the name suggests, has something to do with rally racing. And if you observe it closely, it features several elements that highlight its off-road nature - be it the all-terrain tyres, the trimmed front bumper for a better approach angle, or the circular headlights that really set it apart from the regular BE 6. On top of the vehicle sits a large roof rack, which isn't fully visible due to the blue-and-white protective covers. Why Mahindra is hiding it makes us curious - but this is definitely not your regular roof rack.

Talking about its battery specifications, it might come with a 79 kWh pack paired with a dual-motor setup, making it an AWD vehicle. After all, it can't be a true off-roader without AWD and some extra power. The 79 kWh pack produces around 285 PS and 380 Nm of torque; however, if Mahindra adds another motor, the power output could increase by 100 to 120 PS. And yes, considering it's going to be an off-road-focused car, its range shouldn't be less than 550 km under any circumstance.

We at 91Wheels also spotted this beast earlier in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. If you'd like to check out those photos, click here.
Verdict
By now, the BE 6 and XEV 9e have been well accepted by the audience - and surprisingly, the 9e sells even more despite being priced above Rs 22 lakh. These SUVs have made EVs look cool, and buyers are amazed by their technology, performance, and of course, their looks. I believe the company will launch the Rall-E edition next year, and by then, these vehicles will have firmly established themselves in the market, paving the way for this off-road-focused model.
