Mahindra Thar 4X2 RWD variant is all set to launch on 9th January according to the reports on the internet. The upcoming variant has been seen in picture multiple times and the specifications and other details were already surfaced on the internet. The upcoming Thar 4X2 variant is expected to be priced very economically to offer a better value for money product to the customers. Additionally, our industry sources tell us that some Mahindra dealers have already started taking the bookings of it unofficially. The brochure of the upcoming Mahindra Thar variant has been leaked online and in this article we'll have a look at the Thar 4X2's variants and their specifications.

Mahindra Thar 4X2 RWD - Variants

The AX OPT and LX are the two primary variations of the upcoming Thar 4X2 RWD version. Both models will be offered with a new 1.5-liter diesel and 2.0-liter gasoline engines. The former generates 115 bhp aa nd 300 Nm of maximum torque, while the latter generates 150 bhp and 300 Nm. Both engines come standard with rear-wheel drive (RWD) drivetrains and will be offered with 6-speed manual and 6-speed AT transmissions.
