The test mule has been spotted with a conspicuous set of hardware. If you look closely, there's a front-mounted radar unit tucked beneath the front grille, and cameras near the ORVMs. Interestingly, one of the sensors resembles a LiDAR unit, hinting towards Mahindra's ambitions beyond just a basic ADAS unit; possibly becoming the first brand to introduce LiDAR-based assisted driver technology in the mass-market segment.
Currently, the Mahindra XUV 3XO offers Level 2 ADAS features, such as adaptive cruise control, auto emergency braking, traffic recognition and much more.
