India's leading automaker Maruti Suzuki has expanded the CNG model in its lineup with the launch of the Brezza S-CNG. With a starting price of Rs. 9.14 lakh (ex-showroom), Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG has been introduced in India. It is the brand's fourteenth S-CNG model. Also, with the release of the Brezza CNG, all Maruti Suzuki Arena vehicles now come with a CNG powertrain.
The brand has launched the Brezza CNG in three main variants namely LXI, VXI and ZXI. The prices of the CNG lineup starts from Rs 9.14 lakh and goes up to Rs 12.05 lakh (ex-showroom).

Maruti Suzuki Brezza S-CNG - Powertrain
The Next-Gen K-series 1.5L Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine that powers the Brezza S-CNG has a maximum power output of 86.6 bhp and a peak torque of 121.5 Nm at 4200 rpm. It has a fantastic 25.51 km/kg fuel efficiency rating. A 5-speed manual transmission is offered for the Brezza S-CNG. Its engine produces a maximum of 136 Nm of peak torque and 99 bhp of maximum power in gasoline mode.
Maruti Suzuki Brezza S-CNG - Features
The recently released Brezza S-CNG comes equipped with features like an Electric Sunroof, Cruise Control, SmartPlay Pro Infotainment System with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Keyless Push Start, and more while being built to provide customers with an eco-friendly driving experience. It is packed with specially designed CNG-specific features, like an illuminated fuel switch and an integrated petrol and CNG fuel cover. There is also a special CNG drive mode. The tastefully designed CNG cylinder has an attractive cover and is generally simple to operate.
Verdict: With the introduction of the new Brezza CNG, Maruti Suzuki, which now dominates the CNG car market, would be able to attract more buyers. Since none of the sub-4 metre SUVs gets factory equipped with a CNG kit, the Brezza CNG doesn't have any direct competitors.
