Maruti Suzuki Fronx Spotted With ADAS - Coming To India Or Testing For Export?

Maruti Suzuki Fronx is currently one of the highest-selling sub-4 meter small SUVs in the Indian market. The Fronx is based on the same platform as the Baleno but boasts a different design language. Maruti Fronx With ADAS Coming Soon?

The Fronx currently comes equipped with a decent number of safety features which include a 360-degree camera, up to 6-airbags, ESP, and other features. Now, in a bid to make the car safer, Maruti seems to be planning to bring ADAS into the lineup. The recently spotted test mule was seen with the ADAS module, but it is not sure if this will be for India or if the brand is testing this feature for the international market. Moreover, the test mule was fitted with front parking sensors.

Maruti has recently started the export of Fronx to Japan and the ADAS model might be under test for the Japanese market. There are a lot of Maruti models that are sold in the international market with different tech and the Fronx with ADAS could be a part of that strategy.

In India, the Fronx comes with a 1.2-litre NA petrol and a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine. On the features front, it gets a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, a 360-degree camera, and an LED headlamp, among other features.
