Mercedes-Benz EQE Launched At Rs 1.39 Crore, Gets 550 Km Range

Mercedes-Benz India has launched its third electric offering the EQE in the Indian market at Rs 1.39 crore. The EQE has been launched in a single fully loaded variant. The battery pack of 90.56 kWh provides you with the WLTP range of up to 550 kms on a single charge. The EQE is also loaded with a plethora of features.

Mercedes-Benz EQE

The recently introduced EQE exhibits a front profile in line with other Mercedes EVs. It replaces the conventional grille with a sleek black panel and incorporates connected LED daytime running lights (DRLs), digital LED headlights, faux air intakes, and various other elements. On the side, you'll notice diamond-cut alloy wheels, flush door handles, and pronounced wheel arches. Towards the rear, it features a gracefully sloping roofline, connected LED taillights, and an aesthetically rugged bumper design. Overall, the vehicle boasts a clean and beautifully crafted design.

On the interior, the EQE is equipped with the MBUX Hyperscreen, which combines three displays seamlessly beneath a single glass panel, forming one expansive Hyperscreen. This configuration includes a dedicated 12.3-inch screen for the passenger. Enhancing the cabin experience, you'll find a Burmester sound system, power-adjustable ventilated front seats, upholstery made without leather, a panoramic sunroof, four-zone climate control, and various other luxurious features. The EQE also incorporates level 2 ADAS features such as lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, emergency braking, and other advanced driver assistance features, along with a transparent bonnet view feature. Safety is further enhanced with the inclusion of nine airbags as standard.

Mercedes-Benz EQE Powertrain

The Mercedes-Benz EQE is driven by a 90.56 kWh battery pack, delivering a rated output of 300 kW and 858 Nm of torque. This electric vehicle can reach a top speed of 210 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds. The powertrain is compatible with DC fast charging, allowing the batteries to be charged from 10% to 80% in a mere 32 minutes when using a 170 kW charger. It boasts a range of 550 km on a single charge.

The EQE is equipped with the 4MATIC system featuring Torque Shift. This function ensures a smart and continuously adjustable allocation of drive torque between the rear and front electric motors, optimizing the use of the most efficient electric drivetrain for the current situation. Additionally, it features the AIRMATIC Suspension, offering convenience by allowing the car to be raised by 25 mm with a simple touch of a button.
