- Will be revealed on November 27
- Will debut alongside the XEV 9s
Mahindra has dropped a new teaser for what appears to be the first production-ready version of the BE Rall-E concept, though the teaser doesn't make it entirely clear whether this is a standalone model or a rugged special-edition derivative of the upcoming BE6. What is confirmed is that the SUV will be unveiled on November 26 at Mahindra's "Scream Electric" event, alongside the new XEV 9S. The teaser reveals several design cues carried over from the Rall-E concept, albeit with more production-friendly touches, making it a stronger case for it. Mahindra Rall-e Design: Concept DNA With Practical Tweaks

The Rall-E appears to retain key visual cues from the concept, including the scooped-out bonnet, circular projector headlamps and eyebrow-styled LED daytime running lights. The overall stance closely mirrors the BE6, and the similarities suggest the two could share major structural and body components. However, unlike the hardcore concept fitted with steel wheels and roof-mounted accessories, the production-spec version transitions to aerodynamically designed alloy wheels and a cleaner roofline, indicating a more everyday-friendly Positioning.

The side profile maintains an aggressive sloping roof and sharp creases, staying true to the original off-road-oriented design language. At the rear, connected LED bars have been split into independent light units, complemented by a roof spoiler and Mahindra's infinity-style EV emblem. The styling appears balanced between futuristic EV cues and a rugged outdoors aesthetic.
Interior: Likely Shared with the BE6
Although Mahindra has not revealed the cabin officially, glimpses from the teaser suggest that the Rall-E may borrow its dashboard layout from the BE6. Expected elements include a dual-screen digital cockpit stretching across the dash, a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated emblem, and a central console styled like an aircraft control panel. The materials and trims are likely to lean towards a premium, minimalist theme, consistent with Mahindra's newer EV interiors.

Features could include ventilated seats, a 360-degree camera, multi-colour ambient lighting, powered front seats, driver-monitoring camera systems and AR-based navigation displayed via a heads-up display. If configured this way, the Rall-E may offer one of the segment's most feature-rich electric cabins, without deviating from its adventurous positioning.
Powertrain & Range: Expected To Mirror BE6 Hardware
Mahindra has yet to confirm the technical specifications, but the Rall-E is expected to borrow its electric powertrain from the BE6, which offers two battery configurations and rear-wheel-drive motor options. The BE6's setup includes 59 kWh and 79 kWh packs, with higher-spec variants producing up to 286 hp while still maintaining strong efficiency. A similar setup in the Rall-E could potentially deliver real-world range figures comfortably above 550 km per charge, although the final numbers may vary due to different tyres and aero tuning.
While it doesn't have a direct rival in its niche, it will go head-to-head with models such as the Tata Curvv EV, Hyundai Creta EV, MG ZS EV, and upcoming Sierra EV and Maruti eVitara. Most of these competitors are city-focused crossovers, which could allow Mahindra to carve out a distinct identity for the Rall-E.
Verdict
The BE Rall-E could become one of the first EVs in India designed not just for urban commutes, but also for enthusiasts who want rugged styling and adventure-oriented character. By blending concept-car aesthetics with a production-ready approach, Mahindra appears to be positioning the Rall-E as more than just another electric SUV, it may serve as the brand's image-builder in the lifestyle EV segment. With its official debut set for November 26, we won't have to wait long to see exactly how Mahindra plans to shape its most adventurous electric model yet.
