Nissan has expanded the Magnite lineup by introducing an AMT (Automated Manual Transmission) option with its CNG-powered variant. This move makes the Magnite one of the very few compact SUVs in India to offer a factory-approved CNG setup paired with the convenience of an automatic transmission, targeting buyers who want lower running costs without compromising on ease of driving.
The Magnite CNG continues to be based on the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which now comes mated to a 5-speed AMT gearbox. The CNG kit is dealer-fitted and approved by Nissan, ensuring warranty coverage and compliance with safety norms. As expected, the CNG setup prioritises efficiency, making it a practical choice for city-focused users and daily commuters. Along with expanding the powertrain options, Nissan Magnite CNG also comes backed with a comprehensive ownership package. Nissan is offering a standard warranty of 3 years/ 1 lakh kilometres on the Magnite CNG, adding peace of mind for buyers opting for the factory-approved CNG setup.
