Nissan Magnite Now In Metallic Grey

Nissan Motor India has expanded the Nissan Magnite's appeal with the introduction of a fresh Metallic Grey paint scheme, now available across the Tekna, Tekna+, and N-Connecta variants. This addition follows the recent launch of the special Kuro Edition, giving buyers even more choices when it comes to personalising their SUV. With the new shade, the Magnites colour palette now includes Sunrise Copper Orange, Flare Garnet Red, Blade Silver, Vivid Blue, Onyx Black, and Storm White. The Onyx Black hue remains exclusive to the Kuro Edition, which also features blacked-out exterior details for a stealthy, premium look.

The Kuro Edition, priced from Rs. 8.30 lakh (ex-showroom), is based on the N-Connecta trim and comes with all-black interiors, an Arkamys sound system, auto-dimming IRVM, climate control with rear AC vents, illuminated glove box, and more features. This new Metallic Grey finish adds another layer of versatility to the Magnite lineup, appealing to buyers who want a balanced blend of style, performance, and features in the subcompact SUV segment.

Powertrain Options
Powertrain choices remain unchanged. The Magnite continues to offer a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine (71 hp, 96 Nm) paired with a 5-speed manual or AMT, along with an optional CNG variant. For those wanting extra performance, the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol unit delivers 98 hp and 160 Nm, available with a 5-speed manual or CVT gearbox.
Verdict
The new colour palete on the Magnite offers a new dimension to the SUV that has hold its fort alone for quite some time without any support. However, X-Trail took a shot at taking some burden off the shoulder of the Magnite but failed to attract the customers owing to its premium price tag due to the CBU route that is generally riddeled with higher taxes. However, the Magnite after scoring a full house of 5 stars in the crash test is now a much more appealing proposition for the buyers looking for an affordable, but safe SUV in this segment.
