Nissan Magnite: Sales Report

The Nissan Magnite made its debut in December 2020, capturing the attention of Indian consumers. Since its launch, it has reached a significant milestone, with over 100,000 units sold domestically. The most impressive sales number, 33,905 units, was recorded during FY21. Produced at the RNAIPL plant in Chennai, the 100,000th Magnite rolled out last June, marking a significant production milestone.

Nissan Magnite: International Presence And Achievements

Recently, Nissan has expanded its export market to include Seychelles, Bangladesh, Uganda, and Brunei, bringing the total number of countries the Nissan Magnite is exported to 15. The company is now focusing on targeting Middle Eastern countries such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait instead of European countries.

The Nissan Magnite has garnered several accolades, including the prestigious '2023 ICONIC Brand of the Year' at the Dainik Jagran INext ICONIC Awards. It was also named 'Compact SUV of the Year 2021' by Top Gear, received the 'Game Changer' award from Motor Octane, and was recognized for its 'Value for Money' by Autocar India, among others. In October 2023, Nissan launched the Magnite Kuro Edition, which is based on the higher-spec XV trim of the Magnite. This special edition recently won the Variant of the Year Award 2024 at the Carbike360-2024 Awards.

Competing with models such as Citroen C3, Tata Punch, and the Renault Kiger, the Nissan Magnite has made a mark in the market. The company is now preparing for the launch of the Magnite facelift in India soon.
