Exterior Looks and Design
A very bold and an imposing design language can be seen on the new Duster. the large chrome grille up front and the projector headlamps attract a lot of attention while the old-school stance gives it a very appealing stance. The side profile of the car looks good but the flared wheel arches may not be to everyone's taste. The rear design remains subtle and makes this SUV look great. The paint quality is supreme and there are no uneven panel gaps.

Interiors

The Duster comes with a 5-seat configuration and offers a spacious and comfortable cabin. The seats at the front and at the rear are comfortable while there are a number of storage spaces inside the cabin to keep the stuff in. The dashboard layout does look dated but is practical. In all, the cabin of the new Renault Duster is comfortable, well-built, and spacious.
Engine, Gearbox, and Performance
The buyers can choose from two engine options with the new Duster. These include a 1.5-L naturally aspirated petrol engine and an all-new 1.3-L turbocharged petrol engine. The maximum power output from these engines stands at 106 PS and 156 PS respectively while ethe peak torque figures stand at 142 Nm and 254 Nm respectively. A 5-speed manual gearbox comes as standard with the 1.5-L engine while the other engine can be had with a CVT gearbox or with a 6-speed manual transmission. Both these engines offer supreme refinement but it is the new 1.3-L turbocharged engine that will impress the driving enthusiasts.

Features

Renault has equipped the Duster with a number of features which make it a great car for everyday usage. The car gets features such as automatic climate control, cooled glovebox, touchscreen infotainment system and other features such as projector headlamps and rear parking sensors. On the safety front, the car gets dual front airbags, ABS, EBD, electronic stability program, Hill-start Assist, and many other modern and advanced features.
Price and Rivals
The Duster competes against cars such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Nissan Kicks, etc. The car is priced from Rs 8.59 (ex-showroom, Delhi) in the Indian market.
