Renault Kwid Now Cheaper Than Maruti Alto - Here's How

One of the best selling entry-level hatchbacks just got more affordable with the latest discount figures. Renault Kwid is now cheaper than its closest rival, Maruti Alto and all thanks to the latest July 2021 discounts. Let's have a look at the figures below -

The prices of Renault Kwid starts from Rs 3.31 lakh to Rs 5.47 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. We believe that the discount is applicable to all the variants and the base STD can be fetched from as low as Rs 2.89 after the discounts.

Mehcanically, Kwid is offered with two engine options - a 0.8L petrol and a 1.0L petrol. Both are three-cylinder naturally aspirated BS6 engines. The smaller 0.8L pumps 53 bhp/ 72 Nm and the 1.0L generates 67 bhp/ 91Nm. Both the engines are mated to a 5-speed stick shift as standard and the 1.0L unit also gets an optional AMT unit.

Feature-wise, the Kwid gets with a multi-function steering wheel, a larger touchscreen with Apple CarPlay with Android Auto, manual AC, a 12V power socket, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, halogen headlights, digital instrument cluster, power windows, voice command and among others.

Another benefit of Kwid over Maruti Alto is that the warranty sticks to 2 years or 50,000 km whereas Alto only gets 2 years or 40,000 km warranty.
