Tata Harrier & Safari Now Comes In XMS & XMAS Variants - Here's What They Get

The mid-size SUV Harrier and the premium SUV Safari from Tata Motors now come in two new variants. The company has introduced these two models to broaden the XM range for the SUV and to give them a new feature to draw in more buyers. The company has introduced the Harrier & Safari XMS and XMAS models, which include a panoramic sunroof and other features found in the higher models.

Tata Harrier XMS & XMAS Variant

The new Harrier XMS & XMAS models include a panoramic sunroof in addition to a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additionally, it has an 8-speaker audio system for excellent sound. Other amenities include reverse parking cameras, rain-sensing wipers, and ORVMs that can be electrically folded. In the SUV's line-up of manual gearbox variants, the XMS variant comes in third, above of the XM variant, and below the XT variant. The XMAS version sits at the second number in the automatic transmission line-up, above the XMA variant and below the XTA+ variant.

The Harrier XMAS variant's starting price is Rs 18.50 lakh (ex-showroom), while the XMS variant's starting price is Rs 17.20 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Safari XMS & XMAS Variant

The Safari XMS and XMAS have similar features as the new Harrier versions. The features include a panoramic sunroof and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Priced at Rs. 17.96 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Safari XMS variant and Rs. 19.26 lakh (ex-showroom) for the XMAS variant (ex-showroom).

Tata Harrier & Safari Engine Specifications

The identical 2.0-liter Kryotec turbocharged diesel engine powers both SUVs. The engine generates a maximum torque of 350 Nm and 168 bhp of peak power. Both a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission are available with the engine.
