While the length and wheelbase are the same ( almost), Brezza comes out taller by 65 mm whereas Nexon is wider by 14 mm. Engine

Recently unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Show 2024, the Tata Nexon i-CNG marks a breakthrough as the first turbo-petrol-driven CNG vehicle boasting advanced technology. Distinguishing itself from competitors is its twin-cylinder CNG system, offering a storage capacity of 60 liters alongside a practical boot space of around 230 liters.

While specific power figures for this powertrain remain undisclosed, the petrol engine is known to deliver 118bhp and 170Nm of torque. However, the performance figures tend to drop when CNG mode kicks in and we expect the same to happen here as well.

Maruti Brezza, on the other hand comes fitted with a 1.5-liter K15C naturally aspirated petrol engine, accompanied by a factory-installed single-cylinder CNG kit. Paired with a five-speed manual transmission, this engine is configured to deliver 87bhp and 121Nm of torque at its peak. And by the looks of it, Nexon seems to be the more powerful of the two, however, it is very early to say it with the actual figures still behind tight lips.

Features

The 2023 Nexon is equipped with an array of features to enhance the driving experience, including a spacious infotainment system supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument cluster, connected vehicle technology, a voice-assisted electric sunroof, an 8-speaker system, wireless charger, navigation, touch-based HVAC controls, automatic climate control, and cruise control. It also offers various driving modes for tailored driving experiences.

The 2022 Brezza comes equipped with numerous safety and comfort features. These include a head-up display, a 360-degree camera, an Arkamys music system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a sunroof, connected car technologies, enhanced air conditioning vents, and other additions. Safety-wise, it boasts six airbags, ABS with EBD ESP, hill-hold assistance, and ISOFIX child seat mounts.

The Brezza CNG variants start at Rs. 9.29 lakhs and goes all the way up to Rs. 12.09 lakhs. Expect somewhere around Rs 80,000 price gap between the standard Tata Nexon and its upcoming CNG sibling, just like their petrol counterparts. That means the Nexon CNG is likely to land somewhere between Rs 9 lakh and Rs 16 lakh, depending on the variant you choose
