Tata Motors displayed a variety of electric, ICE, and commercial vehicles at the 2023 Auto Expo. Along with other offerings, the brand has shown the Tiago EV Blitz Edition concept, which is a performance-oriented, more sporty version of the Tiago EV. The Tiago EV Blitz edition is the new edition. The Blitz variant features glossy black wheel arch extensions that stand out against the iridescent clean Frost white body colour. It also receives an edition-specific body kit to make it look more appealing.

The Blitz Edition features a black and white colour scheme, including blacked out beefier 15-inch alloy wheels, a blacked out grille, roof, and ORVMs. On the frost white colour, the black colour treatment on these specific places looks more enticing.

There has been no cosmetic change done to the interior. It gets the same black-and-white finish as the Tiago EV's standard model. The feature package, which includes automatic climate control, an 8-speaker Harman touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, cruise control, automatic wipers, and headlights, is also expected to remain unchanged.

The brand has not stated any powertrain modifications for the Blitz edition, but we assume it to be based on the Tiago EV's top-tier variant. The EV's top-spec configuration comes with a 24 kWh battery pack. It has a peak power output of 74 bhp and a peak torque of 114 Nm. This model has a range of 315 kilometres.

Verdict: The Tata Tiago EV Blitz version would be a wonderful option for anyone who wants to get an EV with a sporty stance. The brand has not stated whether or not the Blitz version will be released. The Tiago EV is now priced between Rs 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs 11.79 lakh (ex-showroom).
