1. ADAS With Tons Of Features

The standout feature on the Ultraviolette X47 is the brand's UV Hypersense advanced rider assistance suite, or the ADAS. Using a 77GHz radar with a 1500 horizontal field of view and 200m range, it brings blind spot detection, lane change assist, overtake alerts, and rear collision warnings, all firsts in this price bracket. This update is a significant boost to the road safety of riders, and when you couple it with the next pointer, it further elevates it to the next level.
2. Front & Rear Camera

Adding to rider awareness and safety, the X47 comes fitted with dual cameras at the front and rear. These work as dashcams, recording footage in real time with a feature to lock video and save it in case of a crash, making it more comprehensive and useful. The system also integrates with the display to provide live visual feedback, particularly useful when the ADAS suite detects hazards and while reversing the scooter to alert the rider of any obstacles.
3. Dual Digital Screens Up Front

The cockpit gets a fresh two-screen setup, a 5-inch TFT cluster paired with a secondary display dedicated to ADAS and camera feeds. Along with ride stats, dynamic lean angle, and connectivity features, this makes the X47 one of the most tech-loaded motorcycles in its class. The bottom screen is the instrument cluster, whereas the top screen is for the ADAS and camera feed.
4. Robust Safety Net

Safety extends beyond radar tech. The X47 packs switchable dual-channel ABS, four levels of traction control, dynamic stability control, hill hold, and nine levels of regenerative braking, which can restore 25% of the charge. Ultraviolette has clearly designed the package to inspire confidence, whether you're tackling traffic or exploring highways.
5. Battery And Range

This electric mover comes with a 10.3 kWh battery claiming a 323 km IDC range along with Ultraviolette's new 1.6 kW onboard charger, billed as the most power-dense air-cooled unit globally, eliminating the need to carry portable chargers. This is also claimed to the the highest range in any electric motorcycle in Asia.

6. Performance
With a peak output of 40 hp and 610 Nm wheel torque, the X47 is quick enough to challenge ICE rivals. It does 0-60 km/h in 2.7 seconds, 0-100 km/h in 8.1 seconds, and tops out at 145 km/h. Hardware includes USD forks, a rear monoshock, Bybre disc brakes (320mm front, 230mm rear), and 208 mm of ground clearance, decent credentials for an adventure motorcycle.

7. Price, Bookings, and Delivery
The Ultraviolette X47 is priced at Rs. 2.74 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant, with the first 1,000 buyers eligible for an introductory Rs. 2.49 lakh tag. Bookings are already open online at Rs. 999 token amount, and deliveries will commence in October 2025. Alongside three colourways, Laser Red, Airstrike White, and Shadow Black, there's also a special Desert Wing edition with added touring gear.
Verdict
With the X47, Ultraviolette is pushing boundaries in India's premium EV motorcycle space. Radar-based ADAS, dual displays, a versatile design, and real-world range north of 300 km make it an attractive package at this price point. While rivals like KTM's 250 and 390 Adventure bring strong ICE competition, the X47 offers something fresh, which is a blend of high-tech features and sustainable performance. If Ultraviolette delivers on its promise of timely deliveries and service, the X47 could well carve a niche of its own in the adventure-crossover segment, but can this all be enough for the adventure tourer segment to make the electric shift, this is something only time can tell.
