1. VW Tayron R-Line

For the month of February, Volkswagen's upcoming flagship SUV for India, the Tayron R-Line, is all set for its debut. Designed as a premium three-row SUV, the Tayron brings European styling and a strong performance focus to the segment. Inside, it will offer a slew of features including a large touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, three-zone climate control, massaging and ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof and a powerful Harman Kardon sound system. An augmented-reality heads-up display is also expected to be part of the package. Under the hood, the Tayron R-Line will use a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 204PS, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. It is expected to be priced somewhere around Rs 35 lakhs to Rs 40 lakhs ex-showroom.

2. MG Majestor

February 12

MG Motor India is gearing up to reveal its most ambitious ICE product yet. The MG Majestor will sit at the top of the brand's India portfolio and directly target established full-size SUVs like the Toyota Fortuner. The Majestor is expected to build on the Gloster's ladder-frame platform while offering a more premium and feature-rich experience. Anticipated highlights include a panoramic sunroof, powered and ventilated seats, multi-zone climate control, ambient lighting and multiple wireless charging points. Diesel power is likely to come from 2.0-litre turbo and twin-turbo engines, paired with both rear-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive configurations. Notably, it has already been revealed internationally in the Middle Eastern countries, but it could be specced differently than the Indian model. The model is likely to be placed around Rs 38-40 lakhs.

3. BMW X3 30 xDrive M Sport Pro

Upcoming Cars

February 16

BMW is set to expand the X3 lineup with the introduction of the 30 xDrive M Sport Pro, a sportier and more powerful version of its mid-size luxury SUV. Positioned above the standard trims, this variant is aimed at buyers who want a sharper driving experience without stepping up to a full-blown M model. Expected features include a large curved touchscreen setup, a digital driver's display, a heads-up display, three-zone climate control, powered and ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a high-end Harman Kardon audio system. Power comes from a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 258PS, paired with BMW's xDrive all-wheel-drive system.

4. Maruti e Vitara

Upcoming Cars

Maruti Suzuki's first all-electric SUV, and one of the most highly anticipated upcoming cars, has been a long time coming, and February is likely to mark its official launch. The e-Vitara mirrors much of the hardware and equipment seen on the Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella, though Maruti's pricing and positioning strategy could make it more accessible. The cabin is expected to feature a dual-screen layout, ventilated and powered front seats, a premium Infinity sound system, a fixed glass roof and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Like its Toyota sibling, it also offers 49kWh and 61kWh battery options, delivering a claimed range of up to 543km. It has made quite a few public appearances, but the price reveal was pushed for a later date in February 2026. It is likely to be priced around Rs 17-20 lakhs ex-showroom.

5. Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella

Upcoming Cars

Toyota's electric journey in India officially begins with the Urban Cruiser Ebella, which is slated for its market introduction later this month. Positioned as a mid-size electric SUV, the Ebella shares its core platform with the Maruti e Vitara but adopts Toyota's distinct design and feature strategy. Inside, the focus is clearly on comfort and tech, with highlights such as a large touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity, ventilated front seats, powered driver's seat adjustment, ambient lighting, and a premium JBL audio setup. Battery options include 49kWh and 61kWh packs, with the larger unit offering a claimed driving range of up to 543km. The model was revealed back in January but the pricing and launch will take place in February, just around the Maruti eVitara.

Verdict

February 2026 is turning up to be one of the most diverse months for car launches in recent times with a list of some intersting upcoming cars. With two high-profile electric SUVs entering the market, a new full-size diesel SUV challenger, and performance-focused luxury offerings, buyers across segments will have plenty to look forward to. Whether you're considering making the switch to electric, upgrading to a premium SUV, or seeking something sporty and feature-rich, February promises options that could significantly shake up their respective segments.
