KTM India has been testing the upcoming 390 Adventure for quite a long time now. Recently, a new test mule of the KTM 390 Adventure has been spotted on test showing the complete design of the upcoming article. KTM 390 Adventure - Design Changes
The test mule spotted has revealed the new design that will be given to the upcoming 390 Adventure. It will now take some design cues from the Dakar Rally KTM motorcycle. It boasts a tall windscreen, a twin-projector headlamp setup, a rather straight headlamp assembly, a beak-styled fender, a short handlebar, a contoured seat, a single grab rail at the rear, a spokes wheel, and a flat rear section.
KTM 390 Adventure - Engine & Hardware
The upcoming 390 Adventure will boast WP USD forks, a rear mono shock absorber with adjustment, and 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels. Braking will be handled by disc brakes on both ends aided with dual-channel ABS. The 390 Adventure will also boast Supermoto ABS with switchable rear ABS.
Regarding engine specifications, the upcoming 390 Adventure will come with a new 399cc LC4C engine as the new Duke 390. The tuning of this engine will be different to suit the characteristics of the ADV. On the Duke 390, this engine produces 45 bhp of power and 39 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed transmission.
KTM 390 Adventure - Features
On the features front, the upcoming 390 Adventure was already spotted with a high-mounted TFT display. We can also expect features like Bluetooth connectivity, assist and slipper clutch, Quickshifter, ride-by-wire, LED lighting, and other features.
KTM 390 Adventure - Price, Variant, & Launch Timeline
The upcoming KTM 390 Adventure is expected to be launched in the Indian market by year-end. The brand will launch the motorcycle in two variants: a road-biased regular variant and a more off-road friendly Enduro version which was spotted on test previously. Currently, the KTM 390 Adventure series starts at Rs 2.52 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 3.63 lakh (ex-showroom). The upcoming version is expected to boast a price hike of Rs 20,000 to 25,000.
