Tata Motors is conducting comprehensive testing of the forthcoming Punch EV designed for the Indian market. The test mules for the upcoming Punch EV have been observed numerous times, divulging various details. Tata Punch EV
The newly spotted test mule has showcased front bumper design which adorn vertical slats, LED DRLs under the bonnet and similar split headlamp setup as its ICE sibling. Other design aspects are expected to look similar to the ICE counterpart.
Another test mule has revealed he automatic IRVM inside the cabin of the Punch EV. Also, it is expected to borrow some features from the newly launched Nexon EV. The Punch EV is expected to boast a new HVAC control unit, digital instrument cluster, a bigger infotainment display, wireless connectivity among other features. We can also anticipate a Nexon-inspired steering wheel with an illuminated logo.
Tata Punch EV Powertrain
The Punch EV is expected to feature the Tata Ziptron powertrain, which is also employed in other Tata Motors electric vehicles. Although the precise specifications of this powertrain are currently undisclosed, it is anticipated that the Punch EV will offer an estimated range of around 300 kilometers on a single full charge.
