Following the launch of the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Toyota is now preparing to launch the update of the Toyota Glanza, which is set to debut on March 15th. Maruti has unveiled the 2022 Baleno, which has significant upgrades over its predecessor. Since they are both built on the same platform or rebadged twins, the 2022 Glanza is likely to undergo the same modifications. The 2022 Toyota Glanza has been spotted in a number of spy images, and the company has already teased the vehicle ahead of its arrival. 2022 Toyota Glanza Vs 2022 Maruti Baleno Changes

The new Glanza's updates are mainly in line with the new Baleno, with a few significant deviations that give Toyota's luxury hatchback a distinct appeal. Glanza, for example, gets a redesigned front grille with a single chrome accent and the Toyota emblem in the centre, which is distinct from the one given in Baleno.

It also gets a new dual-tone front bumper with a bigger air dam and narrow grille. Talking about the top-spec models, the Glanza 2022 gets new 16-inch dual-tone machined alloy wheels that are distinct from the donor model 2022 Baleno. Other major visual modifications include new projector LED headlights with integrated LED DRLs and a flatter bonnet, which follow in the footsteps of the revised model. Also, the front fog lamps will be surrounded by the C-shaped chrome accent

The interior of the 2022 Glanza will be similar to that of the new Baleno, with a new dual-tone dashboard arrangement. Glanza, like Baleno, features a dual-colored dashboard with a variety of colour options. Also, it will get new AC vents, a new AC control system, and other stuff from the donor model. The interior features will be the same as the 2022 Baleno, including a 360-degree camera, head-up display, connected car technology, cruise control, and more.

2022 Toyota Glanza Engine

Mechanically, the 2022 Glanza will have the same 1.2-litre K-Series DualJet VVT petrol engine as the 2022 Baleno, which produces 89 bhp and 113 Nm of peak torque. A 5-speed manual transmission will be standard, with an AMT unit available as an option. It could also get idle stop/start technology to improve fuel economy. The current G and V trim levels are likely to be continued with the makeover.
