It is true, the new 2021 Maruti Swift gets the highest discount of Rs 50,000 for May 2021. However, this is just limited to the base LXI variant and the other variants that include VXI, ZXI and ZXI+ are available for Rs 30,000. The latter is further seen as Rs 10,000 as cash and Rs 20,000 as an exchange. Similarly, in this article, we will share the discount figures of every Maruti Arena car which is on the offer.
The most popular sub-compact sedan, Dzire gets Rs 20,000 as an exchange offer for all the variants. The lower and mid-spec, LXI and VXI get an additional Rs 8,000 cash offer. Under the hood, Dzire gets the same 1.2L DualJet engine as the 2021 Swift and it churns out 89 bhp with 113 Nm of peak torque. A 5-speed manual is observed along with an optional AMT unit.
The cool looking urban hatchback, S-Presso is for those who want to stand out from the crowd. The hatchback is available with Rs 29,000 discount which is further seen as Rs 14,000 as cash and another Rs 15,000 as an exchange offer.
Under the hood, the S-Presso packs a 1.0-litre, naturally aspirated petrol motor. This feels good to drive in the city and when you rev it hard, you get an equal amount of fun. It churns out 67 bhp at 5500 RPM with a peak torque of 90 Nm at 3500 RPM. It gets mated to a 5-speed manual and an AMT gearbox.
The best selling entry-level hatchback in the country, Alto is available with a discount of Rs 32,000 which is good for a car of this size. Maruti Alto sets a premium between Rs 3 lakh and Rs 4.61 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. It rivals the popular Renault Kwid.
Maruti Wagon R
The ever-popular Wagon R is a valuable option for people who are looking for a car on a budget and are first time buyers. Maruti knows this well and is providing a discount of Rs 33,000. The petrol variants get a Rs 23,000 discount only.
Maruti is providing Rs 20,000 as an exchange bonus on all the variants of the Brezza. If you choose the LXI and VXi then you do get an additional Rs 10,000 as a cash offer. The Brezza comes with a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder BS6 compliant petrol engine. This unit produces 103 bhp with 138 Nm of peak torque. It gets mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and an optional 4-speed torque converter unit. The price of Brezza fetches from Rs 7.50 lakh to Rs 11.42 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
