2022 Maruti Swift CNG Launched At Rs 7.77 Lakh - Available In Two Variants; Most Powerful CNG Hatchback

Maruti has finally launched Swift CNG at a starting price of Rs 7.77 lakh for the VXI trim and Rs 8.45 lakh for the ZXI trim. All prices stick to ex-showroom, Delhi. The Swift CNG is the 9th car from Maruti Suzuki to be available with S-CNG technology.

Powered by the same 1.2-litre, four-cylinder, K-Series, DualJet petrol motor as the Dzire. In CNG form, it churns out 76 bhp of power with a peak torque of 98.5 Nm. The ARAI-certified fuel economy of the Swift CNG sticks to 30.90 km/kg which is quite higher than its closest rivals, Hyundai Grand i10 Nios and Tata Tiago iCNG. It is also the most powerful CNG hatchback in the segment.

Like the Dzire, the Swift too is available in two trims only - VXI and ZXI. Feature-wise, it gets equipped with an automatic climate control, touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, push-button start/stop, rake adjustment for the steering wheel, power folding ORVMs and more.

Safety equipment of the Swift CNG includes ABS with EBD, dual airbags at the front, a high-speed alert system, rear parking sensors, front seatbelt reminder, ISOFIX child seat mounts and more. The AMT versions of the Swift get other safety features like ESP and hill-hold control too but CNG powered version of the hatchback only gets mated to a stick shift.
